Nota bene: the… Tomorrow morning I’m off to St. Louis to attend the premiere of my new composition, titled “Div.” It should be a fun trip since I’m traveling with some members of the KU Helianthus ensemble, namely Mike Kirkendoll, Mary Fukushima, and… A I mentioned in my last post, I’m working on some music for a play my wife is directing at KU called “Keely and Du.” Tonight I finished the music for the very end, when the lights go down. Don’t get me wrong, I still have lots left to do, such as theory projects, a recital, comps, orals, and a dissertation, but this should be my last semester… It’s the end of the Fall 2006 at KU. Thus completes another semester and a couple more notches on the eventual graduation checklist. It’s been a busy semester.
